Upon learning of the exhibition coming to the Michener Art Museum we were enthusiastic to work on a group show of photographic art. And that was before we found out there would be Augmented Reality.
Our task was to design and develop a visual strategy and graphic identity that would translate across the exhibition, publication, museum marketing collateral, and advertising campaign. As we worked through initial concepts for the publication we were introduced to an artist who was developing an AR app to coincide with the exhibition. Together we worked to extend that concept into the printed publication, allowing viewers to "look inside" the images.
